What should I bring to my first visit?
Any prescriptions from your doctor, recent X-ray or scan reports, and the device you use now if you have one. Wear loose clothing so we can assess the area comfortably.
How long until my device is ready?
It depends on the device. A simple brace can be quick, while a new prosthetic limb takes longer because it is custom built and fitted in stages. You'll get a clear timeline after your assessment.
Will my child's brace still fit as they grow?
Children grow fast, so we plan regular reviews to check the fit and adjust or replace the device when it's needed.
Will a prosthesis feel strange at first?
A little, and that's normal. We show you how to put it on, move with it and look after your skin, and we fine-tune the fit at your follow-up visits.
